Room facilities / What is already in the room when I arrive?

A lovingly prepared room awaits you on arrival, equipped with fresh home-made bed linen and soft towels. You will also find high-quality toiletries, a minibar, free Wi-Fi access, two bathrobes, plenty of clothes hangers, a hairdryer, a beach bag, a safe and information about the hotel services and offers.

Included services

At Haus am Hang, many things are simply included - to make your holiday easy. In culinary terms, the day begins with a hearty breakfast from the buffet and freshly prepared à la minute breakfast dishes. In the evening, you can enjoy a first-class 5-course menu of your choice, regional, seasonal and with a Mediterranean accent. The panoramic terrace with lake view and a cosy end to the day at the hotel bar are also included. Relaxation is also included: the solar-heated outdoor pool in the garden (min. 25 degrees), wellness with Finnish sauna, steam bath, organic herbal sauna, relaxation zones and Kneipp circuit. For active guests there is a fitness room with lake view, hiking equipment and tour tips, free tennis in Altenburg and the Südtirol Mobil Card. And as a special extra: our „Seewiesn“ with jetty, sunbeds and free SUP and pedal boat hire.

Cancellation conditions

For all new bookings, cancellation is free of charge up to 60 days before departure.

Cancellation 30 to 3 days before arrival: 70 % cancellation fee on the total amount of your stay.

Cancellation from 2 days before arrival, late arrival or early departure: 100 % of the total amount of your stay.

In case of no-show: 100 % of the total amount of your stay. For cancellations, we reserve the right to charge a processing fee of € 100.00 for bureaucratic expenses.

What services can I use on the day of my arrival and departure?

Your room is guaranteed to be ready for you to move into from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. If you would like to arrive earlier, you are welcome to enjoy our breakfast buffet - with a 30 % discount on the list price. You can also use our pool area to get your holiday off to a relaxed start.
On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room by 11.00 am. However, all the amenities in the house are still available to you until 5.00 pm - for a relaxed farewell without haste.

Are dogs allowed at Hotel Haus am Hang?

A holiday on Lake Kaltern is also good for four paws.

Dogs are very welcome here - on the terrace and in the restaurant in their own areas, in the Red Salon and at the bar.
For reasons of hygiene, however, dogs are not allowed in the buffet area or in the pool area with sunbathing lawns or in the wellness, sauna and relaxation rooms.
Please also note: The vineyards are taboo - they are areas for food production. And swimming in Lake Kaltern is not permitted for dogs according to state regulations.

 

We charge a surcharge per night for your dog (without board).

How far away is the lake?

Lake Kaltern is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel. You can reach the Seewiesn and the surrounding leisure facilities quickly and easily.

What payment options do I have?

Very uncomplicated: You can pay us in cash, by card or by direct bank transfer. We accept EC cards and all major credit cards.

Is the internet in the hotel free of charge and where can I access the internet in the hotel?

Yes - WLAN is free of charge throughout the hotel. You can connect to the internet practically anywhere: in your room, in the public areas and on the terrace. If you want to work in peace and quiet, we recommend our conference room or the red lounge.

Can I book a massage at the hotel?

Yes, with pleasure. Whether it's a classic relaxation massage, a revitalising sports massage or a gentle aromatic oil treatment and much more.

Experienced therapists ensure that body and mind come to rest. Ideal after travelling, after a long hike or cycle tour - or simply to do something good for yourself. We will be happy to provide you with more information on request.

I have intolerances or allergies

No problem in the case of intolerances - just let us know in good time. Then we can plan well in the kitchen and adapt your meals accordingly. Vegetarian meals are always possible. We fulfil vegan requests in moderation and by arrangement, depending on what our kitchen is able to prepare. We reserve the right to charge a surcharge for special preparations. In this way, enjoyment remains uncomplicated - and you can enjoy your holiday carefree.
